Driving over the D611 from the D901 towards Maupertus sur Mer, you see a monument with a big stone (Menhir) telling what has happened with this Menhir during the war.
Behind the monument in the meadow lies a Sk searchlight bunker. This bunker was part of a former AA battery that had to defend the airfield of Maupertus sur Mer.

Along the D612 from Fermanville towards the D901 lies in a meadow a small concrete objects that belonged to the former German airfield infrastructure.
We don't know the purpose of this object, but it must be important because "a mighty bull with 20 young ladies" was guarding the terrain…..!

Along the D901 lies the airfield of Maupertus and halfway the length of the airfield lies the very small village Hameau des Ronches, near an entrance towards the airfield.
One big bunker ST-bunker is visible very well from the road. This could be a Sk-bunker as well, but because it lies on military terrain, we weren't able to enter the bunker.
Next to the visible bunker you see a small wooded area together with some privates houses. In this wooded area some more bunkers like St, KSB and FA/VF bunkers can be found.
For all the St bunkers at this location we are not sure what type they are or if they are Sk-one's.

At the north-east side of the airfield along the D612 on top of a hill lies a very nice type 630 bunker, guarding the surroundings. Around this bunker some Tobruks should be situated, but because of the fact that the acre was full of growing crop, we weren't able to come closer to the bunkers.

Maupertus sur Mer, the Airport.

The airfield is currently in use by the France military, but is also open for public air transport and has therefore a Airport entrance and facilities.
When you go to the Airport Tower, you see on you right hand side standing in the meadow, some bunkers between the airfield and the D901..These bunkers are also re-used after the war by the Airport or Military services. This you can see in changes made and added equipment on the walls and so.

The airplane shelter and Fa kitchen/canteen are standing more to the west side along the D611.
